INGReDIENTS
q1 1/2 lbs. chicken
breast; boneless and skinlesss
qSalt; to taste
q1 teaspoon chile powder
q1 teaspoon coriander
seeds, ground
q2 tablespoons lime
juice
q2 garlic cloves
q1 teaspoon grated
fresh ginger
q2 tablespoons oil
q2/3 cup yogurt
qlime slices; to
garnish
METHOS
qRinse chicken, pat
dry with paper towels and cut into
q3/4.inch cubes.
Thread onto short skewers. Put skewered
qchicken into a
shallow non.metal dish. In a
qsmall bowl, mix
together yogurt, ginger root, garlic, chile
qpowder, coriander,
salt, lime juice and oil. Pour over
qskewered chicken and
turn to coat completely
qin marinade. Cover
and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight
qto allow chicken to
absorb flavors.
qHeat grill. Place
skewered chicken on grill rack and cook
q5 to 7 minutes,
turning skewers and basting occasionally
qwith any remaining
marinade. Serve hot,
qgarnished with lime
slices.
